Basing on customer’s demand, all orders will be applied the own strict production process and quality control from the step of material selecting to finishing to ensure the high quality products

 Creating the appreciate quality control system, staff training and request staff follow the process and available process always comes high on the list of priorities

1. Product checking:

Before finishing, all items will be checked one by one basing on the counter sample or available standards. These standards are set up basing on the order or mutual agrement with customers such as dimension, material, quality of binding, hardness etc, the qualified items will be in next step

2. Coloring:

There are some method to colorize items a: Dying with artificial colouring: Use the artificail coloring powder used for cloth, mixed with boiled water.

The advantage of this method is cheap price;  easy to do;  no lead in items; difficult to mould or moth; nice and deep color.

Although, the color is not uniform; easy to fade; the manufacturer has to well control and manage the remained artificail color liquid after dying. Within 12 hours, we can use this rest but after 24 hours we cannot use it for next dying, so that we have to collect this liquid and treat as industrial waste. Because of this, we have to double check the total amount of artificial coloring liquid for every order.

b. Coloring with paint: Advatage is no fading, consistent color, no lead in coasting, safe to human and eco friendly because this method produces less waste than artificial coloring dying method

There are two available paints, water based paint and oil based paint. The water based paint can meet the high quality standard but more expensive than oil based one.

c. Coloring by coastalized method: To extend of sustainable producing, this is the most effective method, because this method only uses degree and high pressure to make color, no chemical during this process. Item has the naturally pleasant smell. The weakness of this method is that item will be put in high degree combustion chamber, so item is easy to curve because of this item must be modeled right after putting out of the chamber. When its heat is decreased, it is impossible to model.

Note that the combustion chamber should be annually safety checked by appreciate authorities.

3. Hardeness proccess

The structures of handmade item is very simple only by binding so that it is so soft, not hard enough.

Normally, the maker will use the water based glue ( plant origin, safe) to increase the hardness of item. More glue in the water will cause item harder and the bigger dimension item has, the more glue we need.

4. Drying and desiccating:

To prevent the mould and wood eater, we need to dry or desiccate.  Drying is the best because it is so economical; items are so beautiful and not curve because of little and little dry.

Deccicating is applied when no sunlight, this method keeps the product’s schedule under the control but it is highly cost. This method is considered as art, it needs a lot of practical experience in formulating for certain kind of items (The manufacture has to answer such questions as how long for drying? what degree? how to put into the oven for not destroying item, and energy saving? And so on)

5. Cleaning and repairing

During the finishing process, there are some broken items needing repaired. Repairing may be in shape, hardness, color etc. Cleaning here can be dirty clean, edge cutting and this step is compulsory. Cleaning step makes the manufacturer different from others. The cleaner item is, the higher reputation manufacturer can gain from buyer.

Some of the handicraft manufactures say that cleaning is not important, the most decisive things needed to take care are price, delivery time, samples etc, Buyer does not agree, he said that success originates from tiny things

6. Packing

Packing also play very important role in the whole process. If everything is perfect but packing, and the packing method is not proper and excellent, it can cause the unsatisfactory outcome.

What is safe packing? Maximum in cube saving, no breaking during transportation. Special attention to easy broken products such as ceramics, glass, mirror or other items required mail box order box or drop test

7. Stock and loading into container

In Vietnam the humidity is so high so that all items must be taken care even items are packed in the carton box. All carton boxes will be stocked in the insulated store of which has low moisture level

When all carton boxes are loaded into the container, there are some container saver hanging on inside the container (Normally 4 or 6 container saver bags will be hung at different container’s position)

The last step of this process is fumigation
